The Prentiss County Landfill will be closed Thursday for a memorial service honoring Kenny Vires, a dedicated employee who worked for the county for 32 years, according to county officials.
Thursday waste collection routes will be rescheduled to Friday, and Friday routes will be moved to Saturday, the county said.
Vires’ colleagues and community members are asked to keep his family and friends in their thoughts. County officials expressed appreciation for his years of service and dedication to the community.
