Raytheon completes $50 million expansion in Forest, Mississippi

Raytheon has completed a $50 million expansion at its facility in Forest, Mississippi, the company announced Monday. The project aims to boost production and enhance capabilities to support critical national defense programs.

Barbara Borgonovi, president of Naval Power at Raytheon, emphasized the collaboration with state and local partners. “Together with state and local partners, we’re building the workforce, infrastructure and capabilities needed to boost production in support of critical national defense programs,” she said.

The expansion is viewed as a significant win for Scott County and the state of Mississippi, highlighting efforts to strengthen the defense industry and create jobs in the region, officials said.
