Crews began the Second Street pavement project in Booneville on Monday, June 1, according to city officials. The work started with paving the west lane from North Road to Davidson Drive.
The project will continue southward and extend all the way to Cedar Drive. City officials advise residents to plan ahead and reroute during evening and overnight hours while construction is ongoing.
The city thanked residents for their patience as crews work toward completing the improvements, which aim to enhance the safety and quality of the roadway.
