Walmart to Extend Closing Hours to 10 P.M.
On Friday, Walmart announced that most of its 4,700 stores will extend their time of closing to 10 P.M. rather than 8:30 P.M. as it has been since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“With this change, we will continue the health and safety measures currently in place, such as social distancing, health screenings, plastic barriers at the registers and masks,” Walmart said in its statement.
Also, the company will continue to host a senior shopping hour at 6 A.M. every Tuesday for those over the age of 60 or at high risk of serious ailments caused by the coronavirus.
