The Baldwyn Middle School Bearcat football teams for grades 7 and 8 held an end-of-season breakfast at Chick-fil-A, according to school officials.
Later this week, the team will play their final game against Alcorn Central on Monday, September 28, at 6 p.m. at home.
Dy’Lan Johnson, a Baldwyn alumnus and former Bearcat football player who became a state champion, donated chicken and biscuits for the entire team. School officials expressed gratitude for Johnson’s support.
“Thank you, Dy’Lan!” the school said on social media. The team’s hashtag included #heartofabearcat.
