Baldwyn Schools Introduce New Menu Viewing Website

Baldwyn School District has announced a new website for viewing school menus this year. The platform, SchoolCafé, allows parents and students to easily access breakfast and lunch options at Baldwyn Elementary and Baldwyn Middle/High School.

To view menus, users can visit https://www.schoolcafe.com/menus. They do not need to create an account to browse the menus but can choose to do so if desired. After visiting the site, users select Mississippi from the list of states and then choose the Baldwyn Separate School District. From there, they can access menus for specific schools and meal types.

The website provides options to view menus daily, weekly, or monthly. Users can select between breakfast and lunch, and choose entrees or all menu items for each day. There is no need to specify a grade level. The platform also displays nutritional information, including macros, ingredients, and allergy details, for individual items and meals.

District officials say SchoolCafé makes it easier for parents to stay informed about their children’s nutrition and to submit eligibility applications for free and reduced-price meals. The website aims to streamline communication and ensure families have access to comprehensive meal information.
