Booneville High School agriculture students attended the Northeast forestry and wildlife conservation field day on Tuesday, gaining hands-on experience in conservation efforts.
The event was sponsored by Mississippi State University Extension and Dream Tree Forestry and Farms, LLC. Students had the opportunity to learn about forestry and wildlife management practices from industry professionals.
Participants included Carson Chandler, Kyle Deschimdt, Chris Hadden, Thomas Long, Warren Jacobs, and Jackson Welling, who represented their school at the event.
