The Booneville Police Department hosted a two-day Pistol Optics Fundamentals & Proficiency Course on Aug. 13-14, in partnership with Spearpoint Range. The event brought together officers from several local agencies for advanced training on red dot optic systems.
Participants faced unseasonably hot weather but successfully completed rigorous field exercises designed to improve operational skills and community safety. The department said the training aimed to enhance proficiency with modern firearm optics.
The Booneville Police Department expressed gratitude to local businesses and community members who donated hydration supplies and provided lunch for attendees. The support helped ensure officers remained healthy and focused during the demanding course.
