Baldwyn Elementary PTO Launches Raffle Fundraiser for Field Day

The Baldwyn Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization has launched a raffle fundraiser to support Field Day for students. Tickets are on sale now through Friday, May 1, according to organizers.

Winners will be drawn on Monday, May 4, and announced on the school’s Facebook page. Participants can buy tickets at the following prices: $1 each, $5 for six, or $10 for 15. All tickets are pooled into one drawing, with winners selected for each prize.

Prizes include a $827 armchair donated by HM Richards, a cash prize up to $300 based on sales, and gift certificates to local stores and restaurants. The gift certificates include $50 to Food Giant and Mitchell’s U-Save, and two $25 certificates to Lamar’s Barbecue.

Students will bring home ticket sheets in their folders this week. Selling all 20 tickets per sheet earns a reward. Tickets can be turned in via cash or check in the child’s folder or dropped off at the school office. Additional tickets are available upon request.

Supporters without students at the school can purchase tickets by visiting the school office or sending payment via Venmo. To do so, contact Kristin Peeler Collier with your name, phone number, and the number of tickets desired. Organizers will fill out the tickets and enter buyers into the raffle.

Organizers appreciate community support to make Field Day a memorable event for students.
