Mississippi hosts wildlife management event with experts from MSU

Mississippi State University is hosting an event called Bucks, Birds, & Beards on April 30, 2026, at the Bost Extension Center on the MSU campus. The event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Organized in partnership with the MSU Extension Gamebird Program and MSU Deer Lab, the event aims to provide landowners, hunters, and conservationists with practical wildlife management strategies. MSU biologists and specialists will discuss topics related to deer, ducks, and turkeys.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to wildlife professionals, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and enjoy a free meal. The event emphasizes hands-on advice for managing wildlife and land in Mississippi.
