Bevill State Northeast claimed a 3-0 sweep over VB in a volleyball match Thursday night. The Tigers lost the final set 25-17, despite an 11-kill performance in that set.
Lexi McBrayer led VB with five kills overall, including four in the final set. Her efforts were among the few bright spots for the Tigers during the match, according to sources.
Bevill State Northeast maintained control throughout the match, ultimately securing the victory. The teams will face off again later this season, officials said.
