Mississippi is allocating over $23 million to cities and counties to improve infrastructure and modernize local economies, Gov. Tate Reeves announced Tuesday.
The funds will come from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Public Facilities program, aimed at addressing infrastructure needs across the state.
Reeves said the investment is part of the state’s effort to support community growth and economic development. Details on specific projects or recipient communities were not immediately available.
