Mississippi hosted a patriotic event called United in Song, celebrating the nation and recognizing Mississippi’s influence on American history.
Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves expressed pride in being both American and Mississippian. He credited First Lady Elee Reeves, the America250 Mississippi Commission, and volunteers for organizing the event.
The event highlighted the state’s contributions to the nation’s story and aimed to foster patriotism among attendees, according to Reeves.
