Mississippi hosted the 66th annual meeting of the Southern States Energy Board in Biloxi on Tuesday. The event brought together representatives from 15 states, two territories, and Puerto Rico.
Governor Jenniffer González-Colón of Puerto Rico attended the meeting, along with officials from across the South. Mississippi officials highlighted the region’s leadership in industries shaping the country’s energy future.
In a statement, Mississippi officials emphasized their commitment to maintaining the South’s role as a national leader in energy development.
