Mississippi lawmaker responds to Supreme Court decision on mail-in ballots

A Mississippi legislator has issued a statement following the Supreme Court’s recent ruling on mail-in ballots. While expressing disagreement with the decision, the lawmaker emphasized respect for the court and its members.

In the statement, the legislator criticized the court for siding with liberal justices in a 5-4 decision but clarified that they do not support delegitimizing the court or harassing justices. Instead, the lawmaker said future actions will focus on legislative changes.
