Mississippi State Parks Offer Festivities for 4th of July Celebrations
Mississippi state parks invite the public to celebrate the 4th of July with a variety of activities. Parks such as Roosevelt State Park, Paul B. Johnson State Park, Percy Quin State Park, Buccaneer State Park, Clarkco State Park, Trace State Park, and John W. Kyle State Park are hosting events.
Activities include swimming, fishing, paddling, hiking, and patriotic ceremonies. Visitors can enjoy carnival rides, live music, and fireworks shows. Most events are day-only, so attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic and their families.
These festivities are part of the America 250 celebrations happening across Mississippi State Parks. For more details on events near you, visit mdwfp.com/america250, the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks said.
