The spring squirrel season in Mississippi will close next Monday, June 1, according to state wildlife officials.
Hunters have access to extensive public land areas, including Wildlife Management Areas, National Wildlife Refuges, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lands, for squirrel hunting.
