NEMCC Nursing Leader Elected to State Education Role

Michael Barron, MSN, FNP-C, has been elected Educational Director for the Mississippi Organization for Associate Degree Nursing, or MOADN, according to a news release from Northeast Mississippi Community College.

In this role, Barron will help shape nursing education across the state by coordinating speakers for MOADN’s annual conferences and supporting faculty development and student success initiatives, the release stated.

Northeast Mississippi Community College expressed pride in Barron’s leadership, noting that his new position allows him to represent the college at the state level and contribute to the future of nursing in Mississippi.
