Mississippi Department of Public Safety offices will be closed Monday in observance of Confederate Memorial Day, according to a news release from the department.
This closure includes all Driver Service Bureaus across the state. Offices are expected to resume normal hours on Tuesday, April 28.
The department acknowledged the efforts of law enforcement and first responders who will continue working to ensure safety on roadways during the holiday.
