The Mississippi Department of Public Safety announced that its offices will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. The offices will reopen Tuesday, September 8.
The department thanked law enforcement officers across the state who will continue working over the holiday to enforce traffic laws and maintain public safety.
Residents are advised to plan accordingly and drive safely during the holiday weekend.
