The Mississippi Department of Public Safety will close its offices on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day, according to a news release.
The closure includes all Driver Service Bureaus across the state. Offices will reopen on Monday, July 6.
The department advises residents to plan accordingly for any driver licensing or other services during this time. Normal operations will resume the following Monday, the release stated.
