The Northeast Mississippi Community College (NEMCC) is hosting its annual Northeast Invitational starting today. The event features some of the top high school and college-level talent from across the Southern United States.
The tournament will take place at the Shiloh Ridge Athletic Club in Corinth, Mississippi. Rounds 1 and 2 are scheduled to begin at 8 a.m., according to NEMCC officials.
Organizers say the event is a key showcase for athletes aiming to advance their sports careers. The event is part of NEMCC’s efforts to promote regional talent and strengthen community engagement in sports, the college added.
