High school athletics will kick off the 2026-27 season with the “Meet the Tigers” event on Tuesday, August 18, at 5:30 p.m. at Tiger Stadium.
The event will introduce student-athletes from 11 athletic programs and showcase the Showband from Tigerland. Fans will also get the chance to meet coaches and learn more about the upcoming season.
The night will conclude with the varsity football team holding its final preseason scrimmage. The event is open to the community and aims to generate excitement for the upcoming school year.
Organizers encourage fans to attend and support the Tigers as they prepare for the season ahead.
