North East Mississippi Community College is moving its annual ‘Meet the Tigers’ event to Tiger Stadium, according to the college’s athletics department. The event, scheduled for August 18 at 5:30 p.m., will feature a football intrasquad scrimmage.
The celebration, which highlights all 11 of the collegeβs athletic programs, had previously been held at a different venue. The move to Tiger Stadium allows for a larger crowd and a more festive atmosphere, college officials said.
