Northeast celebrates homecoming with annual tradition

Northheast Community College held its annual homecoming pep rally Tuesday, continuing a tradition that highlights school spirit. During the event, head coach Greg Davis presented homecoming queen Lily Benjamin with a commemorative football signed by team members, according to school officials.

Freshman Daniel Sherman also took part, presenting Benjamin with a bouquet of flowers. The rally aimed to boost school pride ahead of the upcoming homecoming game, officials said.

School officials and students participated in the celebration, emphasizing the importance of community and tradition at Northeast. The event concluded with cheers and excitement for the upcoming festivities, officials added.
