Northeast Mississippi Community College dedicates new Alumni Pavilion to Dr. William Jackson

Northeast Mississippi Community College held a ceremony last night to mark the opening of its newly renovated Alumni Pavilion at Tiger Stadium. The college also dedicated the space in honor of Dr. William “Bill” Jackson, a former Tiger football player and student government president.

Dr. Jackson, a longtime Corinth physician and supporter of Northeast, was named Alumnus of the Year in 1977 and was inducted into the Northeast Alumni Hall of Fame in 2014, according to college officials. The college expressed pride in honoring Jackson’s legacy and creating a space for alumni and students to reconnect and celebrate.

College representatives said the Alumni Pavilion will serve as a gathering place for Tigers to come together and continue their connection to Northeast. The event emphasizes the college’s commitment to honoring its alumni and fostering community among students and supporters.
