Northeast Mississippi Community College Honors Dental Hygiene Class of 2026

Northeast Mississippi Community College recognized the Dental Hygiene Class of 2026 during its annual Student Awards Ceremony. The event celebrated students who demonstrated dedication, compassion, and clinical excellence as they prepare to enter the healthcare field.

Recipients of awards included Skyla Adair, who received the Faculty Choice Award; Bliss Ricketts, awarded the Colgate STAR Award and Golden Scaler for highest clinic GPA; and Allison Bastida, honored with the Perseverance Award. Maddie Johnson received the Radiology Award, while Bliss Ricketts and Kayley Drummond were named Sigma Phi Alpha members. Maryann Hammock was awarded the Martha Johnson Dental Hygiene Award.

The college also acknowledged Abby Hardin with the MDHA Award and Emilee Grisham from the Health Sciences Division for their achievements. Officials said these students exemplify service, skill, and purpose, and are prepared to make a positive impact in their communities.
