Two students from Northeast Mississippi Community College brought home top honors from the State Art Show hosted by East Mississippi Community College in Scooba.
Jamyla Elliott won first place in photography for her piece titled “Self-Reflection.” Graceyn Smith earned second place in photography for her photo titled “Green Converse,” according to college officials.
The college expressed pride in the students’ achievements, highlighting their creativity on a statewide stage. Northeast officials said the accomplishments demonstrate a bright future for the college’s art program.
