Northeast Mississippi graduate speaks at TEDx Houston with leadership message

Chris Cornelison, a 1994 graduate of Northeast Mississippi Community College, recently took his leadership message to the TEDx stage in Houston, Texas.

Cornelison, a pharmacist, entrepreneur, and bestselling author of “Super Culture,” has long been involved with Northeast Mississippi Community College. He has served on the Northeast Foundation Board, where his wife, Janet, is currently a member.

His TEDx talk, titled “The Power of Praise,” emphasizes the idea that praising what you want repeated can influence leadership and behavior. Cornelison aims to reach 100,000 leaders with his message within the first 30 days.

He encourages viewers to watch his talk, which is available on YouTube, and to share it with other leaders if they find it resonates. His journey from Northeast Mississippi to the TEDx stage exemplifies how an education from Northeast can lead to broader opportunities, according to the college.
