Northeast Community College has received the 2026 Engineering Excellence Honor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Mississippi, the college announced Tuesday.
The award recognizes the work of Cook Coggin Engineers on the NEMCC Football Field Resurfacing Project. The project reflects the dedication and attention to detail invested in the college’s campus improvements, officials said.
Kent Geno, president of Cook Coggin Engineers, was thanked for his partnership, vision, and support. The college credited his efforts with helping to enhance campus facilities and create spaces that support student success.
Northeast officials said partnerships like this strengthen the college and contribute to building futures for students.
