Northeast recognizes Dr. Justin Treloar with monthly service award

Dr. Justin Treloar, division head for languages at Northeast Mississippi Community College, has been named this month’s recipient of the Northeast Way Award. The award honors employees who exemplify service, leadership, and dedication.

According to his nominator, Treloar is always willing to assist students, colleagues, and his division. He is recognized for his commitment to supporting student growth both academically and personally through service projects, meetings, and extracurricular activities.

His involvement extends beyond classroom duties, including long hours with the Phi Theta Kappa organization, which helps keep his division running smoothly. His efforts are often behind the scenes but have a noticeable impact throughout the campus, his nominator said.

Treloar’s humility is highlighted as a notable trait. His nominator praised his selfless leadership and said he deserves recognition for his dedication to students and the college community.
