Northeast to Conduct Active Shooter Training with Local Law Enforcement
Northeast Community College will collaborate with the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office and Booneville Police Department for active shooter training scheduled for July 21 and 22 at Patterson Hall, the college announced.
During the exercises, an increased law enforcement presence may be visible on campus. The college emphasized that the training is a preparedness measure and poses no threat to students or staff.
College officials thanked the community for their cooperation as they work to enhance campus safety through the training sessions.
