Triad Senior Citizens Appreciation Day Set for May 29

The Triad Senior Citizens Appreciation Day is less than a month away, scheduled for Friday, May 29. The event aims to provide food, fellowship, and prizes to local seniors, according to organizers.

Community Service Officer Timmy Lowery has been actively collecting door prizes and donations for the event. However, organizers have not yet reached their goals for either, hoping to acquire enough prizes to give one to each senior attendee and enough funds to cover event expenses.

Vendors interested in participating are asked to bring their own tables due to limited supplies. They are also encouraged to bring a case of water and door prizes to contribute to the event. Organizers look forward to welcoming attendees and making the day special for the senior community.
