Tropical Storm Bertha Expected to Make Landfall in Louisiana

Tropical Storm Bertha is forecast to make landfall in southern Louisiana tomorrow afternoon, according to the latest updates from weather officials.

A storm surge of 2 to 4 feet is expected along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, with some rainfall anticipated across southern Mississippi, the National Weather Service said.

The heaviest rain is currently projected to remain south of the storm’s center, over the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
