Baldwyn school district and all sports closed next week

Baldwyn school district has joined other local districts in closing next week.

From the BSD:

Baldwyn School District board members and administration will continue to put the health and safety of our students and staff first. While continuing to monitor the COVID-19 virus outbreak and adhering to medical advisements, our school district will remain closed for March 16-20.

Administration and board members will reassess the situation in a week.

Note: There will be no athletic practices or games March 16-20 also.

Tippah, Alcorn, Union, Prentiss and Booneville distrcits are also closed next week.
