Pair in Prentiss County arrestd on commercial burglary charges

A pair in Prentiss county were arrested earlier this week on commercial burglary charges.

From the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department:

On Wednesday December 1st, 2021, Prentiss County Sheriff Department received a call about a Burglary at a shop on County Road 4070 in the Town of Marietta.

Mississippi Highway Patrol arrived at the scene, and detained the suspects until Deputies Jason Moore, and Colby Adams arrived on scene.

Christopher Allen Burcham,45, of Booneville, and Brent Douglas Wilemon,52, of Marietta were both charged with Burglary of A Commercial Building. The stolen items were returned.

Justice Court Judge Trent Moore set both bonds at $10,000.00. Investigator Taylor Walker will present this case to the next grand jury. Mr. Wilemon also had an active Capias Warrant and a cash bond misdemeanor warrant for his arrest.
