Pair of Prentiss County schools rated as top 6 high schools in Mississippi

According to an online site that ranks the top schools in the United States, a pair of Prentiss County schools are among the best in the state.

According to SchoolDigger.com, Jumptertown is the 2nd best high school while Booneville is the 6th best.

Some of the criteria used in the ranking are number of students, student to teacher ratio and average standard test scores.

Jumpertown is ranked only below the Mississippi school for math and science. New Site was also ranked as the 13th best high school in the state.
