Reports: child found dead in hot car in Booneville

According to numerous media reports in North Mississippi and confirmed by the Booneville Police Department, a child was found dead in a car on Friday.

Officers were dispatched to an adult daycare center to find a young child that was deceased in a vehicle.

Chief Ramey was out of the office when calls were made for further details, but the office did say that additional details will be made available as they are known.

No word yet on any criminal charges.
