Prentiss County deputy arrests Booneville man on drug charges

Prentiss County Deputy Paul Phillips arrested Kevin Wayne Davis, 42, of Booneville on July 29, 2026, on a Capias Warrant for possession of methamphetamine and tampering with physical evidence, according to authorities.

The bond was set at $10,000 by the June grand jury. North Mississippi Narcotics Agent Grady Smith handled the case and presented it to the grand jury, officials said.
