Applications Open for 2026 WMA Draw Hunts for Deer, Teal, Rabbit, and Dove

Missouri residents can now apply for the 2026 Wildlife Management Area (WMA) draw hunts for deer, early teal, rabbit, and dove. The Missouri Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks announced that applications will be accepted until Aug. 15, 2026.

Applicants will select hunt choices for each species, with different allotments available. More information about hunt options can be found on the WMA Draw Hunt page.

To apply, hunters must log in to the MDWFP License System. New users will need to create an account and secure any necessary prerequisites, such as a WMA User Permit, Lifetime Hunting License, or Youth/Senior Exempt License. Applicants then navigate to the Draw Opportunities tab, select their desired hunt, and add it to their cart at no cost.

Hunters rank their hunt preferences in order of priority before completing the application. After reviewing their choices in the shopping cart, they finalize the process by clicking “Complete Transaction.” Successful applications trigger email and inbox notifications.
