BMS Teacher Introduces Students to Baby Kangaroo

Mrs. Tonya Hall from BMS brought a special guest to her fifth-grade classroom Monday. Her grandbaby, Pogo, a baby kangaroo, was brought in to educate students about wildlife and animal care.

Pogo, who is still being bottle-fed and sleeps in a pouch, allowed students to pet him and learn about his native habitat. Hall said the visit aimed to teach students about kangaroos and the importance of caring for wildlife.

Students responded enthusiastically to the visit, which highlighted the connection between animals and their environments. The event was part of an effort to promote wildlife awareness and education in the classroom.
