Booneville seeks bids for cemetery mowing services

The Booneville Board of Aldermen voted March 17 to accept bids for mowing and weed eating at the city’s cemeteries. The project includes all areas of Booneville and Fairview cemeteries.

Bidders must submit sealed proposals with the bid number BC42826 clearly marked on the outside. Bids should include a certificate of insurance, contact information, and the proposed price per mowing. The deadline to submit bids is April 27, 2026.

Bids can be dropped off or mailed to Booneville City Hall at 203 North Main Street. The city will open the bids during its regular board meeting at 5:30 p.m. on April 28, 2026. The mowing contract covers biweekly or as-needed maintenance, as directed by the Public Property Director.

The work includes the entire Booneville City Cemetery on South King Street and the Fairview Cemetery on Lakeview Drive. For more information, contact Gary Cleveland at 662-210-0216, according to city officials.

Lori Tucker, mayor, announced the bid process in notices published on April 16 and April 23, 2026.
