Harley Reeder has returned to Northeast Mississippi Community College as its new assistant softball coach, the school announced Tuesday.
Reeder was an all-conference pitcher at Northeast, ranking in the top 10 in single-season performances for wins with 16 and strikeouts with 153. She played college softball at Austin Peay State University and Blue Mountain Christian University.
Reeder’s hiring marks her return to the team where she previously made a significant impact as a player, according to a school news release.
Her familiarity with the program and her playing experience are expected to benefit the Tigers’ softball team moving forward.
