The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Enid Lake teamed up with the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks to host an accessible fishing day in September. The event took place at the Bob Tyler Fish Hatchery’s Visitor Education Center.
Held annually on the first Saturday after Labor Day, the event offers people of all mobility levels a chance to fish for catfish and enjoy a day by the water. The program promotes inclusive outdoor recreation and aims to make fishing accessible to everyone, according to MDWFP.
