Tippah County Lake in Mississippi to reopen for fishing and boating on May 30
Tippah County Lake in Ripley, Mississippi, is scheduled to reopen to fishing and boating on Saturday, May 30, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.
The lake’s closure was prompted by storm debris removal and cleanup efforts following Winter Storm Fern in January. Officials say the area has been restored for recreational use.
The campground at Tippah County Lake will remain closed as repairs and debris cleanup continue. The department will notify the public once the campground reopens.
