The campground at Tippah County Lake in Mississippi reopened Monday following a temporary closure for storm debris removal and cleanup efforts. The closure was prompted by damage from Winter Storm Fern in January, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.
The lake itself reopened to fishing and boating on May 30. Visitors can now enjoy the full lake experience, just in time for the Fourth of July weekend, officials said.
