Dr. Daniel “Deano” Harrison has been named director of the Mississippi Office of Apprenticeship, known as ApprenticeshipMS, according to state officials.
Registered apprenticeships help connect Mississippians with rewarding careers and assist employers in building a skilled workforce, officials said.
Under Harrison’s leadership, ApprenticeshipMS plans to expand high-quality opportunities that respond to industry demand, strengthen the talent pipeline, and promote economic growth across the state, officials added.
The appointment aims to support workforce development and economic expansion in every region of Mississippi, officials noted.
