Mississippi Winners Named in Art of Conservation Fish Art and Essay Contest

Winners of the Mississippi division of the Art of Conservation’s Fish Art and Essay Competition have been announced, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.

First-place winners from the state will advance to national judging, the department said. The full list of winners is posted on the Art of Conservation’s website.

Additionally, the department reminded residents that the deadline for the 2026 Bob Tyler Fish Hatchery Youth Art Contest is May 10, 2026. There is no essay component for this contest, and any native Mississippi fish species are accepted.
