Multiple drug offenders sentenced in Prentiss County court

Multiple defendants received sentences for drug offenses in Prentiss County Circuit Court last week, with all sentences imposed by Circuit Judge Kelly L. Mims, court records show.

On June 11, 2026, Mack Randle, 53, of Booneville, pleaded guilty to charges of trafficking and sale of methamphetamine. Judge Mims sentenced him to 10 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections. The charges stemmed from investigations by the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, which found Randle sold 26 and 112 grams of methamphetamine, respectively. Randle is not eligible for parole or early release and will serve the full term, with five years of post-release supervision after completion.

Absolomon Hines, 50, of Booneville, pleaded guilty June 15 to possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison. The sentence followed an investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol and Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, which found Hines in possession of more than 13 grams of methamphetamine intended for transfer. Hines will also serve five years of post-release supervision.

Tonya Shouse, 39, of Booneville, also pleaded guilty June 15 to trafficking and possession of methamphetamine. She was sentenced to 10 years, with the charges involving the sale of approximately 108 grams of methamphetamine and possession of less than two grams. She is ineligible for early release and will serve the full sentence, plus five years of post-release supervision.

William Prentice Brown, 44, of Booneville, pleaded guilty June 16 to trafficking, possession of methamphetamine, and felony fleeing. He was sentenced to 10 years for each charge, with the sentences running consecutively. Brown is not eligible for parole and will serve the full terms, with five years of post-release supervision after release. His sentences stem from investigations by the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department and North Mississippi Narcotics Unit.

Philip Grizzard, 35, of Booneville, pleaded guilty June 18 to trafficking methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was sentenced to 10 years, which will run consecutively with a current five-year sentence. The charges involved the sale of about 108 grams of methamphetamine and possession of a rifle. Grizzard will serve the full term, plus five years of post-release supervision.

Abbey Mullikin, 35, of Booneville, pleaded guilty June 18 to possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell. She was sentenced to 20 years in prison. The charge was related to an investigation by the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department and North Mississippi Narcotics Unit, in which Mullikin was identified as a co-defendant with William Prentice Brown. Mullikin will also serve five years of post-release supervision.

Tanya Savell, 48, of Booneville, pleaded guilty June 18 to two counts of sale of methamphetamine and one count of possession. She was sentenced to 15 years in prison. The charges arose from separate investigations by the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department and Booneville Police Department. Savell will serve five years of post-release supervision following her sentence.

These cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Kyle Robbins, according to the First Circuit Court District office, with Jason D. Herring serving as district attorney.
