North East Mississippi Community College’s athletic department achieved a historic milestone by having five programs recognized as the MACCC Academic Team of the Year for their respective sports. This marks the most such honors for any of the college’s sister institutions, according to school officials.
The awardees include teams from golf, track and field, baseball, volleyball, and another sport, showcasing success both on and off the field. College representatives praised the student-athletes for balancing athletic excellence with academic achievement.
